Why KORC
Cork is harvested from the bark of living oak trees — the tree is never cut down. After harvesting, the bark regrows fully in about 9 years, making it one of the few truly renewable raw materials. Cork oak forests are also carbon sinks, absorbing millions of tons of CO₂ annually.
